Today was the first day of english tutor.I was in grade 5 tutor.When I got there,my friend at school, Michael,was behind me. Our tutor was Henry Leung.The first thing we did was we introduced our self. The classemates were Michael,Mason, Kaitlin, Kipling, Kyle,and Clement. After we introduced ourselves,we played this game that the NASA play.It was hard because there was too much words on it.My first time was 4:05.My second time was 1:10. After that we played a game that we have to follow instructions. Everyone failed. Then we talked about how many people don't follow instructions. So we played a different game.We split into 2 teams. One team had 3 players,while the other team has four.My team was called team 1. The other team was called team 2. So each team got a piece of paper from Henry. It already had words on it so we didn't have to write on it. The object of this game was to make the other team guess your word. The only way you can help the other team is to give a word that is not that word. We won.After that we got our homework and then we went home.
Its the first day of Grade 5 English tutor. I was the first one to get there, along with my friend, Christopher. When we went inside the building, we had to wait a long time. Henry was my tutor. When we finally started, we did a listening activity. I was very close, but I still didn't get everything right in the end. We did the NASA activity. It was hard because there were a lot of words everywhere. At first I was very s l o w, that I even exceeded 5 minutes! But then the second time, I was way faster because I knew where everything was. Although my second time was still slow, it was a lot better than my first time. I took 1 minutes and 50 seconds to complete it the second time. The world record was about 10 seconds. We did a paper (well, it wasn't exactly a paper, it was a few papers) where people had to take turns reading 2 sentences each Then, Henry explained the homework to us (which is what I'm doing now).We had 5 minutes left of English tutor. Henry said if we can guess a word we can play a game so we did Hangman. I guessed the letters A, E, I, O, and U. After when there was only 1 letter left, I went though the whole alphabet and found out the letter was G. After hangman, we had to go home. I figured out that Hangman was already the game.

Our teacher was Henry, the same teacher Cliff, Darren, and I had last year. First, we did a listening test to see how well we listened. I think everyone got at least 1 step wrong. Then we played a game that the people at NASA play. The first time I did it,I didn't get to finish it, but the second time, I finished it in 1:22. A person that was in NASA finished the entire test in only 10 seconds!! Then we got our homework. After that, we played hangman. It took us a long time to guess the word, hog. By the time we finishd the game, it was time to go home.

I remember them because they where also here last year. Then Henry said that we were just missing Kevin. I knew that it was the Kevin at my school but I didn’t understand why he came. We then played a game the N.A.S.A. played to test how fast they can do it. Later we spit in two groups. My team had 3 people but the other had 4. My team had Clement, Joshua, and me. We had a list of words and so did the other team. We had to say a word that has to do with the word on the list.
Friday my first day of tutor. I was in grade 5 tutor. I was the first one to get there because I was early. Some of my friends from last years tutor class were there after me. My tutor is Henry Leung from my summer tutor class. The classmates I had were Micheal,Kipling,Kyle,Clement,and Joshua. The first things we did was introduce ourself. After that we played this game that NASA played. It was hard for me. I couldn't finish it like the rest of the class did. So it was no fun. After we played the game we did another game. We had to follow the instructions Henry made up. But as you know everyone failed. We talked about how many people weren't paying attention to his instructions. So we played another game. We split in 2 teams. My team was team 2 and the other team is team 1. We played the and I messed up. After all the games we played Henry talked about the homework and we did homework at the same time because he told us to do some of it then we went home.
Last Friday was my first lesson in English. When I went into the classroom, I almost knew everone except Mason. I was quite happy to see my friends again from the long summer hoilday.
In the beginning of the class, we played a game about following directions, and everybody was unable to follow the instruction.
The second game we played was from N.A.S.A. (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). In this game, only two to three people could finish within the time limit.
The third game that we played was to try to list out something based on the teacher's information and try not to have duplicate words, or you would be eliminated.
In last game, we had to seperate into two teams. Kyle,Kaitlin Mason and I were in team A. Clement, Joshua and Michael were in team B. It was a guessing game, both teams had to think of a word as a clue and the other team had to guess the answer. It was a fun game.
At the end of the lesson, we got our homework from Henry. And there was something new this year that we had to get and submit part of our homework on the internet which I thought was fun, but mom did not seemed to like this idea very much.
During my summer vacation I got a new game for my Game Boy Advance SP!The game wasn't very new but it was still fun to play it. The name was Infurnal Escape. It was about Tom and Jerry and Tom got hit by the grand piano. That's where the game comes in. Tom has to find (or steal) at least 30 golden bones from the dog camp and to free at least 8 of the cats from the mouse levels. It probably sounds easy but it's actually quite hard. You encounter a lot of traps and you have to jump over explosives and wooden boxes that if you step on them giant dogs come out and beat you to death (of course that's not very fun). Sometimes I get all angry because if you get killed by one of those giant dogs, step on one of their traps or anything else, you have to start right from the beginning of the level. You always have to fight something 10 times bigger than you in order to get what you want. I stop playing when I feel bored because of trying and trying too much. I only finished the whole game once in the whole summer. some scenes are funny but some scenes are not (that's what makes the game so fun!) There's also one thing left that's funny about the game. The characters that Tom kills dies a weird death. Their hands and legs go up in the air and the whole body turns upside-down (almost like it was standing but standing upside-down).I tried winning the game more times but I did not actually make it.
Days past and we known or teacher.In grade five we had homework,homework and lots of homework. We learned french,p.e,socials,science,music,grammer,novel studies,communicating skills,art and more. My teacher was kinda funny but he gave alot of homework. At school it was very very very boring we always had math in the first period. then another subject then recess then something else then lunch the another few subjects until school is over (home time) I had homework from school that gave me homework then english that gave me more homework the mandirin that gave me even more homework. Days past and it is always the cycle give homework,get homework. At school we don't have much events or something like that.
I am........ today I... dont know why peoples like to live longer on this world..... This world's not as good as it'S in the other people's dream(s)....... because there were alot of bad peoples, but if they are all good and nice, then the world will be safe and not fun....= BORING!~ So im confuse is all the people in this kind of world should be happy or should be sad? TELL ME THE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!
During this week my school teacher wasn’t here. Most people in our class wanted to find out what happened but the substitute didn’t know yet. Our substitute was Mr. Lerch. He asked a lot of questions on that first day but on his second day he just asked a few. At the end of his second day he said that our teacher Ms. McCusker will come back but that didn’t happen. On the third day another substitute came. His name was Mr. Singh. He said that our class was his old music class. During the morning we had fifteen minutes of extra reading because he wanted to see what, when and how do we do things. He didn’t ask as much questions as Mr. Lerch but he still asked a few. On the second day we also had extra reading time but twenty minutes now. On the fourth day of substitute he said she will be back on Monday. When we were finally here on what we thought was the last day there was our teacher reading the next chapter of our novel study. When the bell rang at 8:55 we went in and many people went up and asked her what happened so she stood in front of the class and told to the class,” my friend died so I needed time to relax.”then people asked,” how did she die, “ and she replied,” she died from a heart attack.”she started to cry but when she stopped it was all the same again.

Michael Tse My First Day at tutor

Week One - English Homework from Kipling
